Lithonia Park Ribbon Cutting Set for July 15
Upgrade includes new playground
DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will hold an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated playground at Lithonia Park on Monday, July 15, at 11 a.m. The ceremony will be held at 2501 Park Drive Lithonia, GA 30058.
A total of $365,000 was allocated from Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson, Commissioner Lorraine Cochran-Johnson and SPLOST funds to complete the project. The public is invited to join park staff and county officials at the ceremony. Attendees will also learn more about the upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.
